What is the Masterclass about?

This interactive Masterclass will provide a broader understanding of unconscious bias and how to tackle this within the workplace. If we accept the notion that we’re all naturally unconsciously biased, we can develop a shared and an individual responsibility to address this.

This Masterclass will be delivered live online. We will contact you with joining instructions at least 24 hours before the workshop starts.

What will we cover?

This training session will take a look at the difference between bias, prejudice, stereotyping, and the impact it can have on the workplace. We will look at the implications linked to how unconscious bias affects decision making in activities such as: recruitment, people development, performance management, leadership and marketing.

What will I achieve?

By the end of this workshop you should be able to...

  • Understand what unconscious bias is
  • Examine the different types of unconscious bias
  • Clarify the link between ‘discrimination’ and ‘protected characteristics’
  • Manage unconscious bias in yourself and others
  • Develop an inclusive approach
What level is the Masterclass, and do I need any particular skills?

This masterclass is suitable for anyone who would like to further their knowledge on unconscious bias. This is a BEGINNER LEVEL course and everyone is welcome.

What can I expect from a Masterclass?

Masterclasses are interactive training with audience participation to give you a firmer understanding of how you can implement change in your business. They take around 2-3 hours with around 20 other participants.

What are the attendance requirements?

These sessions have limited spaces, so before booking please ensure you can attend, and can meet the full attendance requirements.

Please arrive promptly and stay for the duration of the event. This means arriving no later than 10 minutes late to the workshop and attending the full time.
