What is the workshop about?

Procurement has always been an important discipline within any construction and facilities project.  However, with increasing emphasis on supply chain transparency, achieving value for money and supply chain resilience, there has never been a better time to understand the true impact of procurement and how your organisation can benefit from improved practices.

This 3-hour session starts a programme of courses. It has been designed to deal specifically with what procurement is and why it is important.

This workshop will be delivered live online. It is interactive in nature and will utilise Mentimeter and Jam Board to allow participants to get the best value from the session. We will contact you with joining instructions at least 24 hours before the workshop starts.

By the end of this workshop participants will:

1)      Understand what procurement is.

2)      Be able to articulate why procurement is important to their business.

3)      Understand how to embed and/or develop procurement processes within their own organisation.

4)      Understand what good practice looks like.

What level is the workshop and do I need any particular skills?

This workshop is suitable for beginners, however we recommend completing the supporting E-Learning: Introduction to Procurement E-Learning Module
