Event/Workshop
GB
Wednesday, 15 September 2021, 10:00 AM - 12:15 PM
What is the conference about?
This conference will launch the new DfMA Overlay to the RIBA Plan of Work. The overlay helps architects and construction professionals understand what they need to do differently in each of the 8 stages of the project lifecycle if they are to successfully adopt Offsite Construction and a Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) approach.
The DfMA Overlay is accompanied by a DfMA report that sets out the latest in thinking on Offsite and DfMA for architects and construction professionals. The Overlay organises the core tasks that the profession needs to do differently through the process of briefing, designing, constructing and operating building projects if we are to effectively accelerate the uptake of Offsite in line with current industry thinking and client requirements.
