Offsite construction has the potential to reduce costs, improve quality and save time. It will improve Health and Safety, reduce waste and lessen the environmental impact of the construction industry. The offsite project manager could be forgiven, therefore, for becoming complacent. In this webinar, Ken Farnon of Cooley Construction Services talks about the importance of clear and open communication in the offsite sector.

In this Lunch ’n’ Learn session, Ken will:

  • Describe the different types of Project Manager and ask the question ‘Which are you?’
  • Present examples of where one person’s understanding of the project might be different from another’s, depending on their perspective
  • Outline how some innovations may not produce the expected results unless all stakeholders are knowledgeable, adaptable and willing to break habits

This session is free to attend, please register using the link below.

Note that this is a short one hour session covering one aspect of offsite Project Management. The Supply Chain Sustainability School also offers longer three-hour interactive workshops covering all aspects of offsite construction, including Design, Cost Consultancy, Procurement, Logistics, Site Management as well as Project Management. See the ‘Events’ page for upcoming workshops.
