Collaborative Working:

Working through a framework of Toolsets, Skillsets and Mindsets we will explore what collaboration means and the behaviours required to promote, foster and embed collaborative working at all levels throughout a project, an alliance, an organisation and into the supply chain.

By the end of the session you will have an understanding of how to gauge the maturity of your current performance at all levels of the organisation structure,  to identify the drivers of relationships through the project and into the supply chain that will impact on effective collaboration; you will have an opportunity to develop improvement plans and discuss approaches to support key areas of influencing, avoiding blame, problem solving & team building.

The Collaborative Working Session aims to give you the confidence in tackling the key elements that are often overlooked when working with multiple suppliers & contractors in the delivery of a project. It will enable you to ensure that the mindsets required for a successful project delivery are understood from the beginning, allowing the correct skillsets to be developed alongside the tools that will support continuous improvement and overall performance improvement.

Collaborative Working is one of many influencers to support effective project delivery, however, without an appreciation of other influences, progress may not meet expectation. During the session we will also explore other influencers that will need to be considered alongside Collaborative Working to ensure overall benefit is realised and sustained.

We expect strong demand for this workshop, so are limiting attendance to 1 delegate per company. Delegates should be from companies actively involved in the Highways England RDP supply chain. A reserve list will be held for this event, so if you are unable to book a place please contact stefania.chica-jacome@actionsustainability.com to be put on our reserve list.
