There is increasing pressure on our industry to ensure that we are reducing carbon in the design, construction and operation of projects, and organisations need to understand how to help customers meet this challenge. This has been reinforced more recently with the declaration by Parliament of a Climate Emergency and a revision to the Climate Change Act to reach net zero emissions by 2050.

This interactive workshop is appropriate for those at the start of their journey in developing an approach to understanding and reducing carbon emissions for their organisation.

By attending this workshop you will:

  • Understand the relevance of carbon for the built environment
  • Understand key terms used in carbon footprinting analysis
  • Undertake some carbon footprinting
  • Discuss ways of reducing carbon
