The business case for Fairness, Inclusion and Respect

There is aacute shortage of skilled workers available in the built environment, at all tiers of industry supply chains. So how do we make ouindustry a more attractive place to work, so that we can better attract, train and retain the talent we need?

We need to cultivate a culture of Fairness, Inclusion and Respect (FIR) in our offices and on our sites to achieve this. Join this FREE webinar to find out how to embed this within your organisation.

This webinar will help you to understand:

  • How embedding the principles of fairness, inclusion and respect is good for business
  • Why major customers increasingly ask their suppliers to develop improved culture for all
  • What the terms fairness, inclusion and respect mean
  • How you can start to embed a culture of fairness, inclusion and respect into your business
  • Where delegates can find support

About the FIR programme:

CITB co-fund CECA to run the industry-wide FIR Programme, that aims to create an improved culture within the industry to attract and retain a more diverse range of people. This workshop is kindly hosted by Harlow College, a Constructions Skills Fund onsite Training Hub. You can learn how to implement this in your business in one of our most popular courses, with over 1,000 delegates over the last three years.

This event and the use of the School's training resources are free, however places are limited. To attend simply register to this event. If you have any questions, please contact Alice Alizart or telephone our office on 0191 580 4005.

Current School status re: Coronavirus (COVID-19):

We want to ensure you that the School will continue to provide the highest quality learning to you amidst the Coronavirus outbreak. We will continue to do this by changing the format of our face to face activities (workshops, full and half day supplier briefings, meetings) and broadcasting them remotely via a webinar format (or similar alternative). We hope you find this move reassuring so that you can still access all of our free training in a safe environment.

We are continuing to monitor the situation as it evolves and will adjust our approach accordingly so please keep an eye out for our emails and on our website.
