What is this session about?
This session will dive into retrofit of social housing at scale in line with PAS2035. This session will provide information through real life case studies and examples of work. It will explain the PAS2035 process, and importantly highlight the key considerations when working within it.
The session will be forward-looking, giving insight
into challenges, solutions and lessons learnt. It will also give an overview of
what is required within the supply chain of these projects.
This session will be lead by Carl Yale, Regional
Refurbishment Director at Lovell, and so this content will be illuminated by
Lovell (Morgan Sindall Group)’s learnings and experience.
What will I achieve?
By attending this session, you will learn:
- The size, and scale, of social housing retrofit projects
- Key considerations when delivering within PAS2035
- Challenges and lessons learnt from delivering large-scale domestic retrofit projects
- Supply chain requirements from a major contractor
What can I expect from a Lunch ‘n’ Learn?
Lunch ‘n’ Learns are a quick introduction to a topic, 45-60 mins to fit around your busy schedule.
What are the technical requirements?
You will need:
- An internet connection
- A computer with a microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook)
- Earphones/headphones/speakers (preferable)
- A tablet/iPad/smartphone/iPhone to load facilitation tools
What are the attendance requirements?
Please arrive promptly and stay for the duration. This means arriving no later than 10 minutes to the session and attending the full 2 hours.
To receive your CPD accreditation and for this to be tracked through your Supply Chain Sustainability School dashboard make sure your full name is reflected on your Zoom account when you join the session.
Please note, if you fail to meet the attendance requirements, unfortunately you will not be issued a CPD Certificate.
Can I invite a colleague?
