What is this session about?

In this short interactive Lunch and Learn session, we will explore the principles and practice of energy efficiency in corporate and domestic environments. School partners Mitie and McCarthy Stone will introduce practical examples, showing how they have worked with customers to meet the technical and behavioural challenges and opportunities of becoming more energy efficient. 

What will I achieve

By attending this session, you will understand:

• Why improving energy efficiency is something that can benefit us all
• How to play a part in responding to spiralling costs and uncertainty of supply
• What the proactive Building Manager can do to help and how you can help them do their job more effectively
• How we can make the best use of available technologies from the simple to the most complex
• How digital content and technologies including data analysis is helping to reduce energy use
• How all this helps us in the path to Net Zero

What are the technical requirements?

You will need:

• Internet connection
• A computer with microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook)
• Earphones/headphones/speakers (preferable)
• A tablet/iPad/smart phone/iPhone to load facilitation tools
