What is the session about?
Join this webinar where we explore science-based targets and carbon reporting. We will discover how your organisation should respond to a request from a client about setting science-based targets and capturing your carbon footprint. We will look at why it is important to report carbon, what carbon reporting is, how you report carbon, and how accurate carbon reporting can benefit your business.
What will I achieve?
By attending this session you will:
- Receive an introduction to science-based targets and the tools that are available to support you.
- Discover how your organisation should respond to a request from a client about your carbon footprint Understand the scale of the issue, and where priorities lie through the capture and analysis of data.
- Learn how to report your organisation's carbon and where to get the correct data from Understand the different ways to report your organisation's carbon
What level is the session and do I need any particular skills?
This webinar assumes you have basic knowledge of carbon and climate change but are looking for an introduction to carbon reporting and its importance for your organisation.
What are the attendance requirements?
Please arrive promptly and stay for the duration of the event.
To receive your CPD accreditation and for this to be tracked through your Supply Chain Sustainability School dashboard make sure your full name is reflected on your Zoom account when you join the session.
Please note, if you fail to meet the attendance requirements, unfortunately you will not be issued a CPD Certificate.
What are the technical requirements?
You will need:
- Internet connection
- A computer with microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook)
- Earphones/headphones/speakers (preferable)
- A tablet/iPad/smart phone/iPhone to load facilitation tools
