This webinar will help you gain an understanding of sustainable procurement duties in Scotland and the ISO20400 standard as a framework for embedding sustainability within your business. It will also explore how implementing a sustainable procurement strategy will allow for ‘generated’ Social Impact. It will explore the legal duty under the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014, requiring public sector bodies to consider the social, environmental, and economic impact when purchasing goods and services for suppliers and clients in the built environment sector.

What level is the workshop and do I need any particular skills?

This is a beginner level workshop so assumes limited knowledge of sustainability and the ISO20400 standard, and is aimed at those working directly in procurement or supply chain management.
