What is this session about?

The Value Toolkit is a new way of thinking for the construction industry. This workshop has been developed to give commercial professionals such as; QS, Cost consultants, designers, procurers, project managers and commercial managers, a valuable insight into how government policy makers and construction clients are considering making their procurement decisions.

By attending this workshop you will gain an appreciation of how informed, value-based decisions support better outcomes from the investment we make in the built environment. Such decisions go beyond simply controlling cost during construction or ensuring that projects are completed on time. Value also encapsulates wider, whole-life considerations: how does it support our net zero ambitions, will it improve the experience of users, will it improve productivity of industry, how can this project support greater social impact.
