What is this session about? 

The Value Toolkit is a new way of thinking for the construction industry. By attending this course you will be develop a thorough technical understanding of the Value Toolkit and how clients should be applying this throughout the project lifecycle. The course will also provide you the facilitation skills to work as an advocate of the Value Toolkit with your clients helping them adopt this exciting new approach of value-based decision making.

This two-day workshop is designed for experienced construction professionals from a client side, contractor, or consultancy background who are people focused and have an ability to bring people on a journey with them.

  • Champion the Value Toolkit to clients through a thorough understanding of the benefits of the Value Toolkit
  • Use a range of facilitation tools and techniques to engage and educate your clients on the use of the Value Toolkit
  • Effectively communicate the technical aspects of the Value Toolkit to the audience
  • Promote the use of value-based decision making

Who should attend?

Attendees can be from any discipline or any profession, they can be client side or a consultancy, they will have 5 years of experience in the construction industry and will be educated to at least level 5. They will be people focused and can lead multi-disciplinary teams and have “an ability to bring people on a journey with them”.

What are the technical requirements? 

Delegates will have participated in the e-learning module “Introduction to Value Toolkit” before attending this course. A link will be sent.

This is face to face workshop over two days, so no more Zoom and  a chance to network and meet like-minded businesses.  Note, accommodation is not provided.
