What is the session about?

We live in an age of high-profile concerns including climate change, rising energy costs, materials shortages and single-use plastics, where clients and society expect businesses to deliver solutions. Products and materials must be used more efficiently and kept in the economy for much longer. To move to a Circular Economy approach, we need to reconsider the way we provide goods and services, procure products and deploy our resources.

Within this webinar, these basic principles of Circular Economy will be explored in the scope of the Fit-Out Sector, using current case studies from the Finishes and Interiors Sector’s (FIS) Reuse Initiative and a partition manufacturer’s take back scheme.

What will I achieve?

At this session you will:

  • Learn about the principles of the Circular Economy
  • Understand how Circular Economy can be applied to the Fit-Out sector
  • Learn about an example of take back scheme from Optima
  • Learn about FIS’s Reuse Initiative on enabling the large-scale reuse of construction products in commercial fitout projects

This is a beginner level webinar and is for anyone who wants to learn about a circular economy approach.
