What is this session about? 

This session will help to show how organisational aspirations for carbon reduction and increased productivity can work together, through the implementation of operational excellence. We will discuss how targets can be aligned and the effective use of operational excellence techniques.

What will I achieve?

By the end of this session, you will understand:

• What our current measures of carbon emissions are and what contributes to them.
• Why a focus on operational excellence can support reduced carbon emissions.
• To identify the key operational excellence improvement techniques to implement.
• To identify strategic changes that will reduce carbon emissions.

What are the attendance requirements?

Please arrive promptly and stay for the duration of the event.

To receive your CPD accreditation and for this to be tracked through your Supply Chain Sustainability School dashboard make sure your full name is reflected on your Zoom account when you join the session.  

Please note, if you fail to meet the attendance requirements, unfortunately you will not be issued a CPD Certificate.

What are the technical requirements?

You will need:

• Internet connection
• A computer with microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook)
• Earphones/headphones/speakers (preferable)
• A tablet/iPad/smart phone/iPhone to load facilitation tools
