Menopause Awareness at Work- Webinar
Event/Workshop
GB
Tuesday, 19 November 2024, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Please note: This session is aimed specifically at current and prospective suppliers to the HS2 project.
The webinar will enable you to start the conversation around menopause, talk honestly and openly about the challenges menopause presents and the positive affect that taking steps to tackle these issues can have on your business.
Every woman goes through Menopause, so it is an issue affecting a large proportion of the workforce. However, it is still considered a taboo subject by many businesses. Women comprise approximately half (47%) of the UK's workforce and almost 20% of these leave the workplace due to perimenopausal or menopause symptoms. That figure is higher in male dominated industries like the built environment.
With the majority of businesses failing to offer employees support to deal with menopause, we are losing skilled workers and subsequently further reducing diversity, especially at management and senior management level.
This 1 hour webinar is designed for EVERYONE in the workforce - not just for women. In fact, we are actively encouraging men to attend.
