Getting Connected: Plant Infrastructure and Technology Onsite- Virtual Conference
Event/Workshop
GB
Thursday, 26 September 2024, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
What is this virtual conference about?
To be able to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, we know we need to use low-carbon and alternative fuels and technologies. But there are often challenges with infrastructure, connection and onsite setup that prevent this from happening as efficiently as possible. This virtual conference will discuss some of these challenges, best practice examples and you will hear from organisations about their own experience.
What will I achieve?
- Understand how the provision of low carbon power at construction sites can reduce greenhouse gas and air quality emissions on site as well as to and from site
- Find out about the common challenges with getting predictable, reliable and cost-effective supply of lower impact energy
- Conversation will include: infrastructure, the delivery of HVO or H2, and connection to grid electric
- Hear from industry experts and find out lessons learnt, best practice and case studies
Who will I hear from?
- Mark Chamberlain, Director at Green Power Hire
- Thibaud Lefebvre, Vice President at Hilti Great Britain
- Andy Grayshon, Commercial Director at Welfare Hire Nationwide
- Sarah Butcher, Commercial Manager at Welfare Hire Nationwide
