What is the session about?
The vast majority of most organisation’s climate change impact lies in their supply chain. Procurement and supplier relationship management is the best lever to engage the supply chain on working with you to reduce carbon impacts.
What will I achieve?
On completion of this webinar participants will:
- Understand how carbon can be embedded into the procurement process
- Have the understanding of how to evaluate carbon impacts
- Know what to ask suppliers for when it comes to carbon
What can I expect from a webinar?
Webinars are a quick introduction to a topic, 45-60 mins to fit around your busy schedule.
What are the attendance requirements?
Please arrive promptly and stay for the duration. This means arriving no later than 10 minutes to the session and attending the full hour.
To receive your CPD accreditation and for this to be tracked through your Supply Chain Sustainability School dashboard make sure your full name is reflected on your Zoom account when you join the session.
Please note, if you fail to meet the attendance requirements, unfortunately you will not be issued a CPD Certificate.
What are the technical requirements?
You will need:
- Internet connection
- A computer with microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook)
- Earphones/headphones/speakers (preferable)
- A tablet/iPad/smart phone/iPhone to load facilitation tools
