What is the workshop about?

This virtual workshop encourages the uptake of best-practice quantity surveying and cost consultancy in the offsite construction sector. The workshop will be facilitated by David Emery of the Supply Chain Sustainability School alongside a guest expert.

By the end of this 3-hour session, you should be able to…

• Understand the information needed to inform the client strategy
• How to benchmark the costs of different systems
• How the client will fund offsite solutions
• The contractual implications of offsite
• The different systems available
• The application of offsite in different sectors

What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?

This is an intermediate workshop aimed at quantity surveyors and cost consultants, as well as those who are interested and want to gain a greater understanding of offsite quantity surveying and cost consultancy. It builds on the fundamentals of offsite, so if you would like to brush up on this we recommend completing the Offsite Fundamentals - Systems e-learning module available free through the School. 

What are the attendance requirements?

These sessions have limited spaces, so before booking please ensure you can attend, and can meet the full attendance requirements.

Please arrive promptly and stay for the duration of the event. This means arriving no later than 15 minutes to the workshop and attending the full 3 hours. No recordings will be available of the live session.

To receive your CPD accreditation and for this to be tracked through your Supply Chain Sustainability School dashboard make sure your full name is reflected on your Zoom account when you join the session.

Please note, if you fail to meet the attendance requirements, unfortunately you will not be issued a CPD Certificate.
