What is the session about?

We live in an age of high profile concerns around climate change and single-use plastics, where clients and society expect business to deliver solutions. Products and materials must be used more efficiently and kept in the economy. To move to a Circular Economy approach, we need to reconsider the way we provide services, procure products and dispose of waste in the context of the systems in which our products flow. 

This beginner level Webinar will introduce you to the concept of the Circular Economy, provide you with an understanding of the key elements and what it means for the built environment. 

This session will also feature insights from the Finishes and Interiors sector, including some best practice examples of implementing a circular economy approach.

What will I achieve?

At this session you will:

  • Learn about the principles of the Circular Economy
  • Understand the drivers for moving towards a Circular Economy model
  • Develop an understanding of the benefits of adopting circular thinking

What are the technical requirements?

You will need:

  • Internet connection
  • A computer with microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook)
  • Earphones/headphones/speakers (preferable)
  • A tablet/iPad/smart phone/iPhone to load facilitation tools
