Stress Prevention in the Workplace Webinar

A 1 hour webinar on stress prevention in the workplace.

What is this session about?

Work related stress, anxiety and depression continues to be the leading cause of work-related sickness absence in the UK, despite employers having a legal duty to prevent it and protect the health, safety and welfare of employees.

This Stress Awareness Month, Our Mind's Work are partnering with The Supply Chain Sustainability School to share knowledge, tools and the confidence to prevent work related stress and psychological injuries to employees in the construction industry.

What will I achieve?

By the end of this webinar, you will:

  • Know the impacts of employee stress and burnout
  • Understand your legal obligations to prevent and manage stress in the workplace
  • Recognise how to use the HSE Management Standards for auditing
  • Be aware of the Stress Risk Assessments process
  • Benchmark your stress management system.
  • Get ready to start action planning

Delivery:

The session is delivered by a live workplace mental health specialist trainer in a Zoom Classroom. The session is interactive and engaging, involving learners in in a range of learning experiences.

What are the technical requirements?  

You will need:  

  • An internet connection 

  • A computer with a microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook) 

  • Earphones/headphones/speakers (preferable) 

  • A tablet/iPad/smartphone/iPhone to load facilitation tools

What level is the webinar and do I need any particular skills?

This is a beginner level webinar and is for anyone who wants to learn about stress prevention in the workplace.

What are the attendance requirements? 

Please arrive promptly and stay for the duration. This means arriving no later than 10 minutes to the session and attending the full hour.  

To receive your CPD accreditation and for this to be tracked through your Supply Chain Sustainability School dashboard make sure your full name is reflected on your Zoom account when you join the session.  

Please note, if you fail to meet the attendance requirements, unfortunately you will not be issued a CPD Certificate. 

Can I invite a colleague? 

Yes, you can invite as many colleagues as you’d like. Simply follow the instructions when you click through to register under ‘Add or cancel additional attendees’.
