What is this session about?

HS2, Britain’s new high-speed railway, is now being built. HS2 trains will link four of the UK’s five largest economic regions, the Scottish Central Belt, the North West, West Midlands and South East.

As Europe’s largest infrastructure project, HS2 is using its size and scale to set new standards to leave a positive legacy for the construction industry. Using world- leading innovations, HS2 is pioneering a better way to build, cutting carbon and improving air quality.

In January 2022, HS2 published its Net Zero Carbon Plan, which sets out HS2’s commitment to become a net-zero carbon project by 2035. HS2 have been working to establish what matters most for their suppliers and in this webinar, you will learn about HS2’s key objectives in reaching their net zero targets and the importance of supplier engagement within HS2. It is also an opportunity to hear from leading suppliers within the industry about the steps they have taken to kickstart their carbon reduction journey.

Who will I hear from?
