What is this session about?

This conference is specifically for FIR Ambassadors, aimed to support you in your role in promoting a culture of Fairness, Inclusion and Respect within your organisation. Drawing insights from our latest research, we will delve into the issues, challenges and successes of the FIR Ambassador role, whilst connecting with other FIR Ambassadors from across the country to give you the tools to be effective in your role.

Whether you are an experienced FIR Ambassador, continuing on your Ambassador journey or a new Ambassador, join us for this interactive conference which will leave you inspired and ready to act to help make your workplace better for everyone.  


What will I achieve?

By attending this conference, you will:

Gain Insights from the 2023 FIR Culture Impact Survey: Acquire knowledge and perspectives from the latest FIR Culture Impact Survey results, including valuable insights from FIR Ambassadors themselves. Stay updated on the current trends and challenges within the realm of Fairness, Inclusion, and Respect.

Enhance Effective FIR Ambassador Leadership: Learn strategies and best practices to become a more effective FIR Ambassador, whether you are a seasoned professional or just starting your Ambassador journey. Discover leadership techniques that can contribute to the successful promotion of a positive workplace culture.

  3. Address Challenges in Your Ambassador Role: Explore and discuss the challenges that FIR Ambassadors commonly face in their roles. Gain practical solutions and strategies to overcome obstacles and navigate the complexities associated with promoting FIR values within an organisation.

Through a series of discussions and facilitated activities, we will address: 

  • Insights from our 2023 FIR Culture Impact Survey results, including the perspectives of FIR Ambassadors themselves; 
  • Effective FIR Ambassador leadership; 
  • Challenges you may face in your Ambassador role; 
  • How you can step in to actively challenge behaviours and positively impact workplace culture;  
  • How to best support others in driving positive behaviours; and 
  • How to draw support from the FIR Ambassadors Network and FIR Programme.

Who is this conference suited for?  

This conference is specifically designed for FIR Ambassadors, individuals who are actively engaged in promoting a culture of Fairness, Inclusion, and Respect (FIR) within their respective organisations. Whether you are an experienced FIR Ambassador, currently on your Ambassador journey, or a newly appointed Ambassador, this conference is tailored to meet the needs of individuals dedicated to fostering a positive workplace culture. It provides a platform for FIR Ambassadors to connect with like-minded professionals from across the country and gain valuable insights and tools to enhance their effectiveness in promoting FIR values.


What are the technical requirements?

You will need: 

  • An internet connection 
  • A computer with a microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook) 
  • Earphones/headphones/speakers (preferable) 
  • A tablet/iPad/smartphone/iPhone to load facilitation tools 

What are the attendance requirements? 

Please arrive promptly and stay for the duration. This means arriving no later than 10 minutes to the session and attending the full 2.5 hours.  

To receive your CPD accreditation and for this to be tracked through your Supply Chain Sustainability School dashboard make sure your full name is reflected on your Zoom account when you join the session.  

Please note, if you fail to meet the attendance requirements, unfortunately you will not be issued a CPD Certificate.
