The Highways England RDP School initiative is being supported by 11 DIPs: Costain, Skanska, Balfour Beatty, Volker Fitzpatrick, Vinci, Osborne, BAM, Graham, NMCN, Kier and Galliford Try. The free support programme – open to all suppliers and sub-contractors involved in any RDP scheme - will offer a consistent “one-stop shop” approach to sustainability, consisting of:

• Sustainability Performance monitoring and improvement across the 5 RDP regions using an advanced version of the School's Sustainability Tool
• Training Workshops and themed “Supplier Days” on sustainability topics – for example Carbon , Waste, Social Value, Modern Slavery and FIR (Fairness, Inclusion, Respect)
• Access to curated and blended Highways England "Learning Pathways" via the School portal

Highways England will monitor and report on increased learning, as well as the overall outcomes in terms of sustainability improvements generated for the entire RDP programme.

Attending the launch will give you all the information you need to participate in this RDP School initiative, and align your approach to sustainability with your direct customers and Highways England itself.
