Generation is co-creating a new green jobs training programme in collaboration with Macquarie Group Foundation and Macquarie Green Investment Group.

This new training bootcamp will provide employers with top-performing junior hires for retrofitting / green jobs by training young people who have faced barriers to employment across the UK.

Join this Lunch n Learn to find out more about the programme and how you can get involved as an employer. During the session, Generation will:

• Introduce their bootcamp training model for equipping diverse groups with the skills they need to thrive in junior roles
• Share their plans for upcoming work training people for green jobs 
• Look for employer/trainer input on how to take the project forward

This programme, as a profession-specific 400h full-time bootcamp, will:

• Provide employers working on green and renewable energy and retrofitting with a reliable source of diverse and highly-motivated, entry-level talent equipped with the specific skills, mindsets and behaviours needed to succeed
• Provide life-changing opportunities to individuals who face barriers to employment – specifically unemployed young people aged 18-29 (targeting >50% female, >80% ethnic minority)
