Highways England recognise that Fairness, Inclusion and Respect (FIR) is fundamental to the sustainable future of the infrastructure sector. This workshop will explain the importance of creating a more inclusive place to work; a place where people are happy, feel valued and can thrive in a supportive working environment.  Join this workshop to discover how FIR drives an increase in workforce engagement, a boost in productivity, greater innovation and higher financial returns.

The workshop is aimed at companies in the Highways England RDP supply chain, who have not yet attended any FIR training with the Supply Chain School.

By attending this workshop you will learn:

  • What Fairness, Inclusion and Respect means
  • Why it matters and the business case for FIR
  • How to progress FIR within your organisation

Participants will learn how to use the FIR Toolkit for the built environment. These are free-to-access resources, part funded by CITB and distributed through The Supply Chain Sustainability School. The FIR Toolkit was created by partners including CECA, Network Rail, Highways England, Skanska, VINCI Construction, BAM Construct UK, Balfour Beatty and GRAHAM Construction.

We expect strong demand for this workshop, so are limiting attendance to 1 delegate per company. A reserve list will be held for this event, so if you are unable to book a place please contact stefania.chica-jacome@actionsustainability.com to be put on our reserve list.
