As digital innovations become more common in the construction industry and teams become more interconnected, the importance of cyber security cannot be underestimated.

By attending this taster workshop on Cyber Security in the Construction Sector, you will:

• learn about the many types of cyber crime
• understand what's different about cyber-crime in construction
• see how much might be at risk and how serious data can breaches be (hint: the answer runs to nine figures!)
• understand where the weakest link is in your business and what you can do to fix it.
• learn about legislation, standards and support.

This short session will introduce these and other topics and explain what you will learn in the regular longer workshop. It is part of our Embedding Digital in Construction launch event for a new Digital topic area in the School. We highly recommend attending the launch event prior to this workshop.
