Event/Workshop
GB
Friday, 11 February 2022, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
What is the session about?
This case study session with Mathias and Sons, specialist provider of workwear and PPE to organisations across the UK, will explore how they have implemented initiatives within their business to improve resource use and deliver social value including eliminating single use plastic packaging, moving to a circular economy model using the waste hierarchy and working with a local homeless charity.
You will hear about the scale of the challenge for business in regards to these sustainability issues and how these were overcome with practical examples. You'll then understand how these changes have provided significant business benefits, and be inspired to consider how your organisation could do the same.
What will I achieve?
- Hear how Mathais and Sons have come up with practical solutions to reduce their waste, and how they used the waste hierarchy to do so
- Understand how the business has eliminated single use plastic packaging in their products and consider how your organisation could do the same

- Have the opportunity to get involved in an interactive Q&A session with Adam Lane, Commercial Director at Mathias and Sons
