This session is aimed specifically at current and prospective suppliers to the HS2 project.

What is this session about?

There are many standards available on how to measure your carbon, be it at organisational, project or product level; the list of acronyms is bewildering. But do you know how to set up and maintain the right systems, governance and stakeholder engagement to make it actually happen, such that you achieve your carbon reduction targets?  This webinar will give you insight into the recently updated PAS 2080 standard on Carbon management in buildings and infrastructure.

What will I achieve?

By attending this session, you will:

• Learn about the relationship between assets, networks and systems when it comes to carbon reduction
• Understand the roles and responsibilities of the various stakeholders involved, leadership in particular
• See how collaboration and engagement across the value chain can have a multiplier effect
• Learn about how baselines, targets, measurement and reporting fit together
• Understand how this can be a useful part of your toolkit for carbon reduction

What are the attendance requirements?

Please arrive promptly and stay for the duration of the event.

To receive your CPD accreditation and for this to be tracked through your Supply Chain Sustainability School dashboard make sure your full name is reflected on your  account when you join the session.  

Please note, if you fail to meet the attendance requirements, unfortunately you will not be issued a CPD Certificate.

What are the technical requirements?

You will need:

• Internet connection
• A computer with microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook)
• Earphones/headphones/speakers (preferable)
• A tablet/iPad/smart phone/iPhone to load facilitation tools
