How to navigate difficult conversations (Sizewell C) - Webinar
This session is one of a series of webinars and workshops being provided for Sizewell C as part of its Supplier Development Programme.
What will this session cover?
Difficult conversations are an inevitable part of working with others, but they don’t have to be unproductive or uncomfortable. This session explores practical strategies for approaching sensitive topics with clarity, confidence, and empathy. Join Head of FIR, Dana James-Edwards to learn how to manage emotions, communicate effectively under pressure, and turn challenging discussions into opportunities for understanding and progress.
What will I achieve?
By attending this webinar, you will learn:
- How to prepare to approach sensitive discussions with a clear plan and defined outcomes in mind.
- Ways to stay composed and think clearly when conversations become tense or emotional.
- Communication techniques that help you express your message without escalating conflict.
- How to better understand others’ perspectives and respond in a thoughtful, balanced way.
- Strategies for guiding conversations toward resolution and maintaining positive working relationships.
What level is the workshop and do I need any particular skills?
This is a beginner level webinar. All are welcome and no particular skills are required.
