Join us for a 2-hour workshop where your organisation can learn how to set science-based targets and capturing your carbon footprint.

What is this session about?

Join this 2.5-hour workshop on Carbon Reporting for Retrofit Projects. Learn why carbon reporting is vital, the sources of GHG emissions, and the global and UK policy responses. We’ll guide you through what to report, data gathering, and best practices for reporting embodied, operational, and whole-life carbon. Ideal for clients considering retrofit as a way to lower emissions and validate project success.

What will I achieve?

By attending this session, you will:

  • Understand the importance and drivers behind carbon reporting in the retrofit landscape.
  • Identify primary sources of GHG emissions in retrofit projects.
  • Grasp the global and UK-specific regulations and expectations around carbon reporting.
  • Learn the essentials of what, how, and where to gather data for accurate carbon reporting.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of a retrofit project in lowering emissions through comprehensive reporting.

What level is the session and do I need any particular skills?

This webinar assumes you have basic knowledge of carbon and climate change but are looking for an introduction to carbon reporting and its importance for your organisation.

What are the attendance requirements?

Please arrive promptly and stay for the duration of the event.

Please note, if you fail to meet the attendance requirements, unfortunately you will not be issued a CPD Certificate.

What are the technical requirements?

You will need:

  • Internet connection
  • A computer with microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook)
  • Earphones/headphones/speakers (preferable)
  • A tablet/iPad/smart phone/iPhone to load facilitation tools
