Data Led Design in Retrofit - Workshop
What is this session about?
This 2 hour beginner level workshop will look at the importance of data within retrofit, what you collect and how it is used. It will also give an introduction to building physics in the retrofit context. This will be an interactive session where attendees work with the trainer and the group.
What will I achieve?
By attending this session, you will learn:
- What constitutes good data
- Why data is vital in retrofit design
- What data you need to collect
- The equations and context of U & R values
- How you use that data
What are the technical requirements?
You will need:
- Internet connection
- A computer with microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook)
- Earphones/headphones/speakers (preferable)
- A tablet/iPad/smartphone/iPhone to load facilitation tools
