Seasoned FIR Ambassadors answer live questions from attendees about everything from inclusion challenges to the role and work of a FIR Ambassador.  

What is the session about?

‘Ask a FIR Ambassador’ is new to the FIR Programme this year. It’s designed to be a safe and confidential, yet open space where anyone can pose real-world questions centred around inclusion to an expert panel of seasoned FIR Ambassadors at all levels of their journey – and get answers, live.  

Whether you’re grappling with an issue of inclusion in your business, noodling over a particular challenge and wondering how to handle it, or thinking about how to get started as a FIR Ambassador, spark engagement, be more impactful or balance the role alongside your day job – we’ve got you 

This session is an opportunity to learn from lived experience, gain practical advice, and hear what other FIR ambassadors are doing and how they’re managing to bring about change, and to get honest reflections about what works in practice, and what doesn’t. 

Bring your questions, share the challenges you’re facing and leave with clarity, confidence, and actionable ideas. 

 

What will I achieve?  

Get insights from the lived experience of seasoned FIR Ambassadors including, but not limited to things like: 

  • Different approaches to common Ambassador challenges 

  • How others are thinking about and navigating their role as FIR Ambassadors in their business 

  • Real examples of what inclusion looks like in practice 

  • Honest reflections and shared learning from across the network 

  • Ideas you can adapt and apply in your own context 

  • Greater clarity and confidence in your own FIR Ambassador journey 

 
 
What level is the webinar, and do I need any particular skills? 

This is a beginner level webinar. All are welcome and no particular skills are required.  

 

What are the attendance requirements? 

Please arrive promptly and stay for the duration.  

To receive your CPD accreditation and for this to be tracked through your Supply Chain Sustainability School dashboard, ensure your full name is reflected on your Zoom account when you join the session. Please note, if you fail to meet the attendance requirements, unfortunately you will not be issued a CPD Certificate. 

What are the technical requirements? 

You will need: 

  • Internet connection.  

  • A computer with microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook).  

  • Earphones/headphones/speakers (preferable).  

  • A tablet/iPad/smart phone/iPhone to load facilitation tools.
