Join this 1-hour webinar exploring the responsible use of plastics in the built environment.

What will this session will cover?

An overview of the agenda for responsible use of plastics, outlining the essentials of some policy changes including the Plastics Packaging Tax and Extended Producer Responsibility.  Some Group work to see what you can do to optimise your use of plastics and plastic packaging and reduce waste. Explanation of what the School and some of our Partners and Members are doing in response to legislative and policy changes and the drive to reduce plastics waste.

What will I  achieve?

This session will help you to understand:

  • How the agenda and policy for responsible use of plastics is developing
  • What you can to optimise use and reduce waste in products and packaging
  • What the School and forward thinking organisations are doing to optimise and reduce waste.

What are the attendance requirements?

Please arrive promptly and stay for the duration of the event.

To receive your CPD accreditation and for this to be tracked through your Supply Chain Sustainability School dashboard make sure your full name is reflected on your Zoom account when you join the session.  

Please note, if you fail to meet the attendance requirements, unfortunately you will not be issued a CPD Certificate.

What are the technical requirements?

You will need:

  • Internet connection
  • A computer with microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook)
  • Earphones/headphones/speakers (preferable)
  • A tablet/iPad/smart phone/iPhone to load facilitation tools
