What is the workshop about?

Join us to understand through this Workshop from School Partner BBI Services on how to get the best out of modern methods of construction.

The session will explore, in depth, what to consider in your transition from construction to production and the simple steps that can be taken to get the best out of modern methods of construction.

At this session you will have the opportunity to hear directly from BBI Services on the methods they use to explore opportunities to improve, the challenges faced when transitioning from construction to production and what steps can be taken, personally, to support the use of modern methods of construction in the work you are involved with. We will explore some key tools, in detail, that will help give structure to the approach you can use to improve step by step. You will have the opportunity to develop your own action plan to drive improvement activity at your own pace and use this as a reference to ensure progress in made. We will use the Miro Whiteboard Platform for the sharing of content and encouraging active participation.


What will I achieve?

By attending this session you will:

  • Hear more about BBI Services approach to getting the best out of modern methods of construction
  • Learn about the approach to transition from construction to production step by step
  • Understand the challenges to overcome to ensure improvement is sustained
  • Have the opportunity to ask your questions directly to the team at BBI Services
  • Develop your own action plan to start the cycle of improvement


What can I expect from a workshop?

Workshops offer a deeper introduction to a topic, understand how to take the first steps for application, discuss with likeminded people their experiences and share best practice thinking to consider, 3 hours to fit around your busy schedule.


What are the attendance requirements?

You may be sent reading materials or supporting documents prior to the workshop, so be sure to check your inbox so you are up to speed. These sessions have limited spaces, so before booking please ensure you can attend, and can meet the full attendance requirements.

Please arrive promptly and stay for the duration of the event. This means arriving no later than 10 minutes to the workshop and attending the full 3 hours. No recordings will be available of the live session.

Please note, if you fail to meet the attendance requirements, unfortunately you will not be issued a CPD Certificate.


What are the technical requirements?

You will need:

  • Internet connection
  • Earphones/headphones/speakers (preferable)
  • We will use the Miro platform for the sharing of content and encouraging active participation and recommend using Google Chrome to access this. You will be given further instructions on how to use this prior to and within the session.
