Waste & Resource Efficiency (Heathrow Airport) - webinar
What will this session cover?
This interactive session will examine the principles and practice of waste and resource efficiency, the overarching legislative and policy framework and the benefits that can be achieved from being resource efficient.
It is also an opportunity for suppliers and subcontractors to contribute views and ideas on how to assist in meeting its waste and resource efficiency policy objectives.
What will I learn?
This Webinar will help you to understand:
- Examining the policy agenda for a resource efficient, circular built environment
- Considering how using the waste hierarchy and circular economy influence resource efficiency outcomes
- Understanding the relationship between materials choices and impacts on resource efficiency
- Opportunities to share your own examples and experience.
What level is the session and do I need any particular skills?
This is a beginner level session, so assumes limited knowledge of waste and resource efficiency.
What are the attendance requirements?
Please arrive promptly and stay for the duration of the event.
To receive your CPD accreditation and for this to be tracked through your Supply Chain Sustainability School dashboard make sure your full name is reflected on your Zoom account when you join the session.
Please note, if you fail to meet the attendance requirements, unfortunately you will not be issued a CPD Certificate.
What are the technical requirements?
You will need:
- Internet connection
- A computer with microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook)
- Earphones/headphones/speakers (preferable)
- A tablet/iPad/smart phone/iPhone to load facilitation tools
