Sustainability Safety and Certainty - Three Benefits of MMC - Virtual Conference
What is this session about?
Offsite construction has been proven to bring many benefits compared to more traditional construction methods. The evidence reveals improvements in speed of delivery, improved quality and less disruption.
But there are many other benefits which are, perhaps, less obvious but which are, nevertheless, important considerations when considering how projects can delivered.
In this virtual conference, we will explore a range of other advantages of taking construction work into a factory environment and away from the construction site.
This virtual conference will bring together industry experts to discuss some of the perhaps the lesser-know - and possibly surprising! - advantages that factory-made systems and components can deliver.
Our guest speakers are all industry experts who will share their extensive experiences in this open, honest and wide-ranging round-table discussion.
Speakers will include representatives from contractors, manufacturers, materials suppliers and cost consultants.
What will I achieve?
This virtual conference will help you to understand how Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) can:
Enhance sustainability
De-risk projects
Deliver cost savings and greater cost certainty
Who should attend?
Clients, contractors, consultants, procurement teams.
What are the technical requirements?
You will need:
- Internet connection
- A computer with a microphone and camera is best (e.g. a PC/laptop/iMac/MacBook)
- Earphones/headphones/speakers (preferable)
- A tablet/iPad/smartphone/iPhone to load facilitation tools
