Speedy Hire: Low Carbon Solutions for Sustainable Sites - Workshop and Site Tour
Speedy Hire is hosting a Scotland value chain in-person site visit and discussion for School partners and suppliers at their Cambuslang Main Depot near Glasgow.

The Value Chain is invited to a Presentation/Discussion with Amelia Woodley, ESG Director, Speedy Hire.
Join us for a discussion on Sustainable Site Set Ups followed by a site tour (near Glasgow) to find out about low carbon fleet options. Discover how these are reducing the use of fossil fuels by adopting alternative fuels and implementing innovative technologies such as hydrogen power units (HPUs) a transition to electric vehicles which operate on 100pc renewable energy and decarbonisation solutions in equipment, tools and services.
The team at Speedy will demonstrate suppliers low carbon plant equipment, technology and solutions first hand. This will enable clients, contractors and suppliers to find out more about plant options to decarbonise, the savings from various plant equipment and how this will help to actively reduce emissions.
Speedy Hire, who have just been named a Climate Leader by the Financial Times for the third consecutive year, has a "Decade to Deliver" strategy setting itself ambitious targets to reduce Scope 1 & 2 emissions by 50% and Scope 3 emissions by 42% by 2030.
